Reece Irrigation & Pools traditionally ran four campaigns per year — each focusing on a different customer, service, or product — in addition to ad hoc and always-on comms. This resulted in activity that was creatively disparate, and didn’t live in market long enough to make an impact.
To solve these problems, my team at Trout Creative Thinking developed a versatile, always-on campaign platform that accommodated and unified the complex messaging requirements of Reece Irrigation & Pools.

The campaign platform was built around Reece Irrigation & Pools’ ultimate benefit: its dedication to helping customers get their to-do done. This seemingly simple message offered vast executional flexibility across a sprawling communication ecosystem.
For Every To-Do
Reece Irrigation & Pools has a really broad range of customers and products, which means it helps get a really broad range of to-dos done. So we designed our platform to communicate them all.
Our Language Had Legs
GYTDD’s language had legs like a centipede. It could develop to say anything and everything we wanted, in a way that elegantly and effortlessly laddered up to the platform.
A Large Image Library
We shot a massive image library for each of Reece Irrigation & Pool’s audiences. This was essential to the ongoing success of the GYTDD platform, providing us with insightful, customer-first visuals to use whenever we might need them.
Social, Done
The stretch of our platform gave us the ability to develop social content that felt completely connected to the wider campaign, while still delivering the quick cut-through that these platforms demand.
Your Own To-do
We created a bunch of GYTDD merchandise, but the to-do list slash notepad concept was my favourite. It took the intangible concept, message, and device of our campaign platform, and made it tangible.
Bringing It To Branch
Rounding it out, we carried our platform into Reece Irrigation & Pools branches with signage, POS material (not shown here but similar to some of the creative above), and other fun little bits and pieces. We delivered a consistent and cohesive brand message no matter where our audience was.
